In 2007 three hectares were planted with 1102 oak trees infected with the truffle spore in the hope of producing Perigod Truffles. Time will tell if this will be a successful venture to have diversified into. It is exciting and interesting to be involved with and learning about another product. There have been many offers to be part of eating the first Truffle produced.
